Tréguier, homeland of Saint Yves and Ernest Renan
Tréguier is a magnificent small city of character.
Its magnificent cathedral demonstrates its historic and religious inheritance.
One of the seven creative of Brittany, Holy Tugdual, established Tréguier to 6th Century.

Saint Yves been born in 1253.
It is one of the most popular saints of Brittany, defender of the poor men, today the boss of lawyers. On third Sunday of May, a pilgrimage takes place, in its memory.

Ernest Renan (1823-1892), famous writer, is also a child of Tréguier.
His native house, reconverted to museum in the street which wears its name is opened to you to discover his life and his work.
